Just workout and do abs as much as you can each day
Start out small like 3 sets of 30 then progressively get tougher
adding a time limit also gives a great workout

full body work outmainly helps your abs… Youu have to rest on your forearms (hands together) and keep yourself up like your doing push ups … But stay in that position for about 1 min.- 3min. Straight… Once youu get used to it try staying in that position longer each time… also try getting your body to stay lower but not touching the ground… Bicycles also help… Lay on your back and Instead of moving your legs keep them straight

Depends on your activity level. Normal people would be around 3-4. Bodybuilders and intense exercisers are capable of consuming up to 8.

Its best not to eat any more than 3

oh yes he trains with me and has a great workout and has lost a few stone, i do have another friend but he just isn’t dedicated enough to go to a gym and said a gym isn’t for him but he is unhealthy and is big which will cause him problems.

Is this diet healthy and good for weight loss?

Okay, I’m not very tall so I’m not going to get ill or anything,I weigh 8 and a half stone and to be a normal weight should really be 7 stone,I was thinking of doing a five mile walk each morning, hula hoop for an hour twice a day, do 5 sets of 10 reps with dumbbells twice a day, and go to the gym three times a week and an aerobics session once a week, I was thinking eat a piece of fruit for breakfast, soup for lunch and some vegetables for dinner, is this okay? And I was planning on starting to take green tea extract.

You need carbs for breakfast if you intend to have energy to do all that excercising, something like banana and a bagel or toast and an egg, and should probably put some proteins in your lunch, soup is not lunch its great for dinner though, you’ll sleep lighter becuase your body will be digesting less, you should probably eat the vegetables for lunch with some steamed fish or grilled chicken.
Also, don’t set your exercise goals to high, you might give up, 1 hour of hoolahoop is ridiculous i get dizzy at 10 minutes of wii hoolahoop, if you can go for 20 min thats great :)

First of all, i’m 5’7, 130 pounds. I wear a size 4 (US) pants, either size 2 or 4 dress size, and generally a small or xs shirt. I know that I’m not clinically overweight but I dont know why I feel so embarassed about my body. People always tell me I look great and that I’m beautiful but I just believe people are telling me lies.
I’m not looking for an ego- boost or anything, but how do you become satisfied with the way you look? Food and exercise has become such an obsession for me that I refuse to eat anything if I dont know the calories in it. I need advice on self-acceptance.

Self acceptance is something that takes a while. I had problems with it as well but what I started doing was everyday, I’d look in the mirror and think about what I liked about myself. Not just what people said they liked about me, but what I genuinely believed I was blessed to have. Eventually, this got easier and I started to realize I’m really not that bad. I know how hard it is when you hear it from everyone constantly and don’t believe it. But once you notice things that you have that are special about you, it really gets easier.

you’re showing early signs of an eating disorder, so please be careful. honestly if you don’t like the way your body looks, you can change it, but just do it the healthy way. try doing some weight training, it will tone your body.

You are seriously getting a serious eating disorder! try to not eat bread, pop, or chips. and exercise at least 30 minutes a day. i gurantee this willhelp a lot and youll get good results in a couple of weeks.

I have the same problem.I think I look fat if I have any amount of pudge on me.What makes me feel confident is if I’m rocking some 6 pack abs!Having those makes me feel good about myself and makes me more willing to show off my body.

I was married to a woman who significantly overweight.I would attend Weight-Watchers meetings with her as a supportive non-participant.They started out with a weigh-in (with height measurement).The really overweight (180+) women were funny.They would take off their shoes – okay fine.But some even took out earring studs.What can a pair of earring studs possibly weigh lol.But about every other session a woman who was slender and usually extremely attractive would come in.They’d take her height and weight, advise her to see a psychiatrist, preferably one specializing in eating disorders.

As to the eating you should gain about ten pounds.Your ideal weight at 5′ 7" is 140-145 pounds.I know tons more about this, but I can’t see you and talk to you eye-to-eye.Also, much as I know, and when I was married to the previously mentioned woman I did a lot of research into bulimia which she occasionally practiced, I am not a professional.Her throat was raw from the acid in vomit.I doubt that she’s alive today and she would only be about 58 if she is alive.

Don’t fall into the "thinner is better" trap.Put on some weight and do get some exercise.But putting on some weight is the more important of the two.

I am a Muay Thay competition Fighter in My hometown and Due to that I workout EVERY day… but I observe My muscles don’t Grow that much… I just get really ripped (No intent to pressume D:) I was wandering if it really has to do with the fact that i Don’t rest too much? I hate spending a day doing Nothing to do with Working out/ fighting, any Tips or Helpful info? thank you! :D

i need some good tips thats going to help me lose weight…i have 3 stone to shed but taking it 1 stone at a time…what tips should i follow…10 points for Best Answer:…i basically have 4 months to lose this weight as i really want to for summer..tanks in advance :)

Best thing to do is exercise about an hour or more daily, eat right, and make sure to eat breakfast. You may not know this but you will actually gain more weight from not eating breakfast. Try to do the some work outs at the same time every day, and as the workouts start to become easy, start to challenge yourself with harder workouts. Hope this helps!

3 stone is a fair amount of weight to get rid of in time for summer. Maximum recommended weight loss is 1-2lb a week.

As to the diet: lots of healthy food :D That means: wholegrain carbs (so wholemeal pasta, brown basmati rice), perhaps some oats, also add in things like beans and lentils, which have the advantage of being super-cheap as well as incredibly healthy because they’re full of protein and fibre. Avoid things like white bread, white rice and (effectively) potatoes. Sweet potatoes are better for you though.

Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables.

Go for vegetable fats over animal fats. Things like olive oil and nut oils are perfect. Groundnut (peanut) oil is the best for stir-fries due to its good heat tolerance. Try to avoid saturated fat as far as possible – so trim all visible fat from the meat and focus on eating good-quality meat, not stuff like hamburgers and sausages.

As a guide: 25% each of your plate should comprise carbohydrates and protein, and the rest vegetables. Fruit is good as a snack.

Sugary foods should only be used as a very occasional treat.

Above all, take it steady. Don’t try to lose more than an average of 1-2lb a week. Also break up your goals into smaller sections, say every 10lb. When you reach it, treat yourself to something – maybe a new t-shirt or a manicure. Don’t go for a food-based treat.

Another tip you can try for motivation: go to the bank and take out however many pounds in weight you want to lose – in £1 coins. Take two jars and put all the coins in a jar marked "pounds to lose". As you lose weight, transfer each £1 to a jar marked "pounds lost". When you reach your target – go out and spend the pounds you’ve "lost" on something that you’ve always wanted, or maybe get some new clothes.

Find snacks that are healthier than what you would normally grab but are just as easy to make and taste just as good, if not better. Motivation is the key to weight loss, if your not strict with yourself and think "one twinky won’t hurt"  your gonna get no where. You don’t need to eat considerably less than before just change the proportions. So still treat yourself, instead of a big fat cream cake, try a banana split with a little bit of ice cream or fruit and yoghurt. Also regular exercise, either short and really intense or more relaxed but for extended periods of time, such as the cross trainer or even fast walks if gym fees are out of the question. 
So regular long periods of endurance exercises (swimmings a great one for working every part of the body) and changing proportions of your diet. Search for healthy alternative snacks as a starting point. 

EDIT also sweating is good, it means your burning fat, where a thin jumper on the cross trainer or on walks. But importantly!!! KEEP HYDRATED THROUGHOUT EXERCISE. And before and after to prepare for sweating out and to replace what you’ve lost :) best if luck.

Eating raw and preferably organic food you will be getting lots of nutrition, low fat, (fat from avocados and nuts is good fat0 no MSM from processed food and many other benefits. Combine the raw diet with some exercise, and don’t forget delicious green smoothies, and you will see a difference very quickly as your body starts to shrink and you will feel healthier and look GREAT!Best wishes!

If my initial goal is only to lose weight, is just doing cardio okay?

I’m 6’3", about 240 lbs, and I want to lose at least 50-60. At the moment, I was going to run every morning (briefly, maybe 20 minutes), bike to work (about 7 miles, but mostly on city streets), and eat no more than 1500 calories a day, and even then only if I was hungry enough to eat it.

Is it okay if I hold off on lifting weights until I’m at the size I want to be, since my primary goal is to lose size and be seen as LESS big?
